SERENGETI & NGORONGORO

The Afrocentric experience, this trip will bring you closer to the locals and get to experience their day-to-day activities, also Discover the most popular wildlife destinations in the world with Joy Safari. The crew will visit expansive landscapes littered with acacias and kopjes alongside Africa’s widest variety of wildlife up close in your own custom pop-up
safari jeep. During your five-day journey, your driver/guide will be on the lookout for the leopard and the elusive black rhino, amongst other scintillating wildlife, unique to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park.

Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti
After a hearty breakfast, drive from Arusha to Serengeti via the Ngorongoro
Conservation Area. Enjoy Ngorongoro Crater’s breathtaking views with your
picnic lunch, then proceed to the Serengeti National Park game drive.
Experience the sunset over Serengeti while getting a close-up view of wild
animals. If lucky, we may witness a hunt or a kill. For the evening, we will head to
the Thorn Tree luxury tented campsite for dinner and overnight. We may still
have opportunities to see animals at the camp and hear hyenas or other animals
crying during the night. There will be an armed park ranger to protect the site
throughout the night.

Day 2: Serengeti Full Day
We will pass at Seronera Laboratory for Covid-19 test sample collections. The
PCR test will cost USD 50 per person. Bring a NEW $50 bill.
Keep exploring Serengeti for a full day with an option for a picnic lunch box or
hot lunch at the camp, followed by a late afternoon game drive. Today will be a
very relaxing day with no transit. Dinner and overnight at Hippo Trails luxury
tented campsite

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
After an early breakfast, start a sunrise game drive through Serengeti National
Park with picnic lunch boxes. Enjoy the game drive on the route as you exit
Serengeti National Park. Keep enjoying the endless scenic plains of Serengeti as
we head to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4:  Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After a leisurely breakfast at Marera Valley Lodge, we head back to
Ngorongoro gate for registration and then proceed to descend to the
Ngorongoro Crater floor for a spectacular game drive. If we are lucky, we will
see the elusive black Rhino inside the crater.
After a picnic lunch, we will proceed with the game drive. Late afternoon, it’s
time to say goodbyes to Ngorongoro, on our journey back to Arusha for dinner
and final overnight at 4 Points hotel near the Arusha Clock Tower.

FINAL DAY 5: Arusha & United African Alliance Community Center (UAACC)
Awaken in Northern Tanzania’s most bustling city for a quick breakfast. Follow
up to secure Covid-19 PCR- results certificates.
There should be time for a bit of souvenir shopping before heading to the United
African Alliance Community Center for lunch with Black Panthers in exile.
This optional opportunity will require a consensus of the group.
Airport transfers the JRO will depart from the UAACC or 4 Points Hotel,
depending on where the group is.
