6 Days 5 Nights Safari in Tanzania with Joy Africa Safari.

Pick up from Kilimanjaro Airport, 45 Minutes drive to Arusha for overnight, with debriefing for tomorrow’s program and Time to be picked up at the hotel 

Day 1:  Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Leave Hotel at 7:30 AM and drive 2 hours to Tarangire gate, a full game drive with picnic lunch boxes, Tarangire river is home to a large group of elephants, wildebeest, and other big mammals, also sometimes you might be able to see African pythons on top of baobab trees, in fact, Tarangire is very scenic  with spectacular views and it has so much to offer from large big mammals, reptiles, cats, flora and bird view, after the game drive you will overnight  Mto wa Mbuu Near lake Manyara National Park

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Full game drive in lake Manyara National Park very famous for tree-climbing Lions and big troops of Baboon, the ever-green forest attracts animals to stay there all year round. This park has so much to offer from Aquatic birds like flamingos, hot water springs, Hippos, big Elephants, Buffaloes, and Giraffes. big cats like cheetahs, Leopards, lions who climb trees, and other many big mammals just to mention a few. Overnight at Karatu Near Ngorongoro.

Day 3: Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater 

Full game drive in Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch boxes: Start early in the morning at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Gate, and after registration, you will descend to the Crater Floor for full-day game drives and have a picnic lunch at the Hippo poolside picnic site. After lunch, you will continue with game drives on the Crater floor in search of rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, etc. Ngorongoro Crater is also famous for bird life and at Lake Makat in the middle of the crater floor you can see, Flamingos, Pelicans, Egyptian geese, and many more aquatic species. Other birds include the Hammer kop, Lilac-breasted rollers weavers, and many more. Later in the afternoon, you will drive to the most famous and the first national park to be gazetted in Tanzania; The Serengeti National Park. for overnight, at Tanzania Bush Camp.

Day 4: Full Day  Serengeti.  

In the Serengeti National Park expect to see lots of animals all year round, but it is the Migration herds that amaze many travelers to witness millions of wildebeest and Zebra moving sometimes in single file. Despite the migration, there are Resident animals expected to be seen all year round including buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, lions, baboons, zebras, and so many bird species. After the game drive, you will Overnight at Serengeti  Luxury Tented Bush Campsite ‘of Africa style’ feeling. All meals included.

Day 3

Day 5: Full day Game drive Safari in Serengeti National Park with Balloon Safari

Early Morning Balloon Safari with breakfast, is a very spectacular way to experience Serengeti in the sky; plus luckily you have the best chance of seeing lions killing for their first meal of the day and most guaranteed the beautiful sunrise in the jungles of Africa, there isn’t a better way of explaining balloon Safari rather than experiencing it by yourselves it will be epic.

After the balloon safari your driver will pick you up for the full day of game drives in the Serengeti plains with a picnic lunch taken at one of the designated sites, or if you wish you can go back to the lodge/tented camp for hot lunch and afternoon siesta and relax until late even You can then go for a sunset game drive in the plains.  Overnight at Lodge or Camp. All meals included.

Day 6 Serengeti – Drive back to Arusha 300km 6hrs

Early morning game drives at Serengeti then you will embark on your long journey back to Arusha town but if you wish; or if your budget allows; you can catch a flight at 11.05 AM at Seronera Airstrip and fly to Arusha.

Day 7 morning Leisure at Hotel, and if interested in a Town tour and shopping Day your Town tour guide will pick you up at the hotel from 10 am or after Lunch for shopping, late evening drops off at ARK or JRO for the Zanzibar trip.

Day 7 Pickup from Zanzibar Airport to Gran Melia  for overnight and Dinner 

 

Day 8: After Breakfast drive to the spice farm tour and stone town, Lunch at downtown then continue with Stone town tours and an evening drive back to gran Melia Hotel for dinner and overnight

 

Day 9 Morning leisure at the hotel and depending on the time-of-flight driver will pick you up (option to visit prison Highland ) and drop you off at Airport. 

 

Like all our programs this safari is also customizable to include the category of accommodation that you wish to stay in. We can include budget, middle-class accommodation, or Luxury safari lodges and tented camps.
