Arusha National Park is at the foot of Mount Meru, A beautiful park, famous for its green surroundings, lakes, unique sights, and its black and white colobus monkey. walking safari gives you a thrilling experience and a chance to meet up with wild animals face to face.

What to expect:

You’ll start the Day with a 45 Minute’s drive to Arusha National Park from Arusha Town, stop at the registration post then proceed to drive through the beautiful green surroundings of Arusha National Park to spot some local wildlife with the possibility to capture a stunning view of Mt. Meru on the background.

Once reaching the starting point your local safari armed ranger will take you on a walking safari. The walking safari gives you a whole new and unique perspective of the national park and it’s super exciting! The scents and sounds of the African bush are the best experiences on foot. Here you’ll be walking alongside freely roaming animals in their natural habitat. Your armed ranger is experienced and knows what you can or can’t do when approaching wild animals. Pay close attention and ask if you are aware of what to do.

What to see on the walking safari:

Colobus monkey. Giraffes,  Buffalo, Zebra, Warthog,  and other many antelopes but very rear case to see elephants since they hide in the forest. Also, a great sport for birds,  Arusha National Park has a great variety of birds like trogons, starlings, turacos, and thousands of migrating flamingos.
